General director Leonid Fadeev talked about the results of the 2024 wine season:
- We grew healthy grapes with the required conditions: higher acidity for sparkling and still white and rosé wines and optimum values for red wines.
- The 2024 vintage has been fully processed. This year we harvested an order of magnitude more grapes than last year.
- We upgraded the agricultural equipment: we bought a new tractor, sprayer, cultivator, etc.
- In 2025, we’re going to plant nine hectares of new vineyards. To do this, in 2024 we developed a planting scheme; we’re actively preparing the soil, sowing green manure and purchasing seedlings and trellises.
- We prepared a production upgrade project.
- In time for the 2024 season, we bought new Cadus, Radoux, and Sylvain French oak barrels.
We launched new wines and rebranded all our wine ranges: Exponat, Lublu, Classic, Elite. For the Exponat range, we determined the blends, new organoleptic properties and design. We changed the design, blends, and varietal composition of the Lublu range; we’re particularly proud of the Lublu Rosé 2023 vintage, which demonstrates the new style of Burnier rosé wines. For the Exponat, Lublu, and Elite ranges, we switched to a new bottle (olive burgundy and weighted conical) and top. Rosé will be bottled in a transparent burgundy bottle. The team has done a huge amount of work over the year!
People who understand what they are doing and why they are doing it are the most important part of a team. They’re willing to move mountains because they’re proud of their work and can’t do it any other way. The company’s management does everything to provide the best possible working conditions. I would like to express my gratitude to the entire Burnier team for the 2024 season!
